IBM i LSAM SCANSPLF needs relative line position function

The IBM i LSAM SCANSPLF utility can perform relative positioning within a single line, either positive or negative from the identified Label value. But it lacks a function that is commonly used with "regular expressions" for file scanning: There should be a way to identify a line in a report and then reposition the scanning cursor to n-number of lines before or after the identified line. This feature would be especially helpful when scanning Query/400 reports, which are notoriously indistinct in their content, due to the repeated TOTALS labels that are the same regardless of the Totals level.
